About us
Welcome to the JBC
The Japanese Book Club strives to improve students’ Japanese language proficiency through the acts of reading, writing, and creativity. Through literature, students can broaden their perspective on the world and obtain more knowledge of Japanese society.
The JBC hopes to cultivate a creative mindset and promote global awareness through cultural narrative. Additionally, we hope to provide leadership and support for those seeking tutoring.

If you have joined the JBC as a paid member for Spring 2026, you can check your member status here (coming soon). Your membership will come with a free onigiri at the fundraiser and free admission to the 2nd and 3rd general meetings. (The first general meeting is free to all!)
